Community

Community is at the heart of what I do. From working with clients, mentoring founders and volunteering my services in my network and wider my community, I have fulfilled my central mission to serve.
I advise, navigate and inspire everyone to just START and find the confidence to achieve their desired version of success.

MENTORING

I give back by mentoring. I currently mentor students, staff and alumni, at Imperial College’s Enterprise Lab. I have mentored enterprise students at Imperial and Durham University, and currently Chair the Advisory Board of an AI recruitment start up spun out of Durham University. I previously mentored start ups at London Sport’s incubator Sport Tech Hub.

I also mentor startup and scale up founders, usually previous clients, often in transition to fulfill their ambitions.

VOLUNTARY WORK

I founded and chaired two resident management companies for several years where I lived, (one even after I moved !).

I served 7 years as an Executive Committee member at Southfields Grid Residents Association (SGRA) giving voice to over 2500 households, in Southfields, SW London, being latterly appointed Chair Designate just before moving from the area. This brought me in monthly contact with our constituency MP, local councillors, police and schools leadership for the benefit of the Grid.

After several years of living in Southfields and volunteering in the community, I realised that the local high street was slowly dying. I set about ideating and founding the Southfields Business Forum, engaging with retailers, restauranteurs and local service businesses and empowering them to establish a voice with the local residents and Council. This resulted in a membership organisation being established and run by local businesses.
